David Brown
Owner and Manager
David Brown, a 2nd generation sheep producer, was born and raised in the San Luis Valley. He received an agriculture degree from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas in 2011. After which, he spent time farming in Australia and traveling New Zealand before returning to farm in Alamosa, Colorado. David bought his own flock of sheep in 2016 and has grown his operation ever since.
His deep-rooted passion and involvement for agriculture stems from his father, Wayne Brown. Wayne similarly has a successful sheep and cattle operation nestled in the San Luis Valley.
David serves on the Colorado Farm Bureau State Board, as well as the Mountain Plains Agriculture Service board out of Wyoming. He has been on agricultural labor committees across the West. He is also a member of the Colorado Wool Growers Association.
David has been Beef Quality Assurance certified and takes pride and care in the handling of livestock.
